I've been sleeved for about a month and a half now and was losing weight really quickly at first. Now, for the past two and a half weeks I've stayed at the same weight! Am I not eating enough? Too much? For those of you who have been sleeved for awhile, did you go through this too or am I the odd man out? How do I get through this?

This has been discussed over and over...it's the six week stall....look in some prior posts to learn all about it. :D

I went through a stall for about the same amount of time. I went in for a check up and the scale said I had only lost 7 pounds in three weeks. What really happened though was I had lost 16 pounds of body fat but gained nine pounds of muscle (my doctor has one of those magical scales that gives you a detailed printout of your body composition after you stand on it barefoot). Your body could be doing the same thing.

Stay hydrated (drink at least 80 ounces of Water a day), keep your calories up, and get your Protein in. Your body is adjusting and is still thinking "what the heck have you done to me" but don't worry, the weight will come off.

I have been losing a steady 3 pounds a week (sometimes more, sometimes less) but after I experienced my long stall and understood why, I don't let it stress me out anymore.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
