There are no guidlines on any of my tubs and i am struggling to get a decent consistency.

Also should i use all milk or must i use half milk/half Water? Water on its owm is not doing it for me!

Thanks as always

I usually mixed mine (fruit flavored) with crystal lite single serve stick so I used more Water. about 24 ounces Water with one scoop and one pack crystal lite.

For the choc and vanilla mixes, I finally had to give up on them. I didn't like them in water. It took too long to drink with milk setting out that long. They got thicker the longer they sat making me gag.

I don't think it matters how much you use. Find what works for you, what you can take in in a reasonable amount of time, and what you can stand drinking.

A friend of mine took the bullets and cut them in half with kool-aide.

Good luck

i like to use milk for my chocolate Protein. i just hate the foam/froth and sometimes i don't have the time to let them settle. i would like to have the consistency of a Wendy's frosty, but i haven't mastered that yet.

As for my vanilla shakes, i would use fruit, yogurt or coffee with milk to flavor, along with syrups. but now that i'm on my all liquid diet pre-op, i use Water with a pack of crystal light for flavor. gives it a creamsicle like flavor. i may just start freezing them and making creamsicle pop lol.

i never tried milk half and Water half.

Thanks for that, im doing some experimenting in the kitcken at the min.

I am trying a bullet today, yuck! I dont like it but im taking drinks every now and again as i need to get some decent Protein in!

Have you tried just taking milk and adding a scoop of powdered milk to boost the Protein? Might be what you need since the protein's make you gag. It may not be as high amount of protein as a Protein shake would be, but it would be more palatable. You could also add a tbsp of Torani sugar free Syrup (insert your favourite flavour here).

Hope you find something you like.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
