I am going to appologize to anyone that had something rude or hurtful to say about my last post. I am sorry that I went on a rant about not getting a response. I was having a bad day and when those days come up I turn to this board for the support I need to get me past whatever is going on.. I do read other post and even more so now that people have made it known that I should do that before posting anything. This is a forum for support right? I needed support and I felt like it wasn't there when I needed it. Now that I look back at it. I shouldn't have posted something that was going to cause such a fit. My remark about "stupid questions" was just that a remark. We all say things that we don't mean to say at times "that's life". My stall has passed and I have lost 3 lbs over the past week. I changed NOTHING!! I kept doing what I had been doing since the beginning and it passed on it own. Thanks for the Positve Support from those of you that provided it.

Glad to hear your dropped 3 more! It's always nice to break a stall but sadly, they do happen from time to time.

Yes, you're right. There is an enormous wealth of information reading this board.

I hope you saw that I too apologized for my snappy remark back- your post just hit me wrong when so many people give so much and I had see your problem addressed so thoroughly. Still, I should not have come down on you- we are a support system and that was SO not supportive!

Glad you have broken your stall- and you have lots of tips now should you reach another one.

What is a big happy family without a few spats here and there? We all have our bad days and I was happy to see how many people jumped in to comfort you instead of the flaming that would have occurred on a lot of forums! :grouphug:

Glad to hear you broke your stall. I find that if I just keep going it breaks. I have also found significant (about 3-5 ibs) weight gain my TOM and a short stall during ovulation. It is like clockwork for me.

MommyTawnie,

Your weight loss is fantastic. Keep doing what you are doing. This forum is supposed to be for support. However, people are emotional creatures. A little vent now and then never hurt anyone, as long as we all come back to our senses fairly quick .LOL

Have a Great Day,

Michelle

Glad your stall broke, glad you didn't change anything, glad it's over and hope you know that you can vent about them here. I think it's an emotional journey, and if you don't get replies, contact someone via the private message system. I've always been quick to reply to messages, and like I said, I can't see every posts, it's just not possible. If you thought the replies were negative, I apologize, but my reply was intended to be helpful to let you know that stalls are discussed on here, and if your post doesn't get the replies you're looking for then seek out the information.

Support comes in many forms, your initial post was pretty much telling us that have been here for almost 2 years contributing to this forum day in and day out, that we suck because your post got lost in the 200 plus new posts that hit this forum daily. I'm really sorry that a forum of several thousand members wasn't there for you, but in reality, I've always told anyone and everyone they could contact me privately if they needed something.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
