My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 AM tomorrow morning. Really scared, wondering if I'm making a huge mistake!! Received lots of good wishes at work today (which helped a little) and my family is super supportive. I want to say thanks to all the VST members and their support over the last few weeks too -- answering my posts have calmed my nerves too. See you all on the "loser side".

You have to own it girl. If you are doing this for your health than you have to cheer out and say I'm doing this to help my quality of life. Own It!!! You just have to close your eyes and step into the unkown, and let me tell you when you do that it will completely change your life for ever. I do have one regret, and that is not having it done sooner..I love my sleeve!!!! I would do it 100 times over.. YOu will have a rocky start but once you get past all of that you will shine like a star. So When you have surgery sip as much Water as possible and walk walk walk.. The more you walk and drink the quicker you will heal..

Great! I hope it comes and goes and you get back on here to encourage the likes of ME! Mine is April 8th. I cannot tell you how excited I am for you! I'm nervous, too, but we wouldn't be normal if we weren't. And look at what hoops we've gone through to get to this point. I'm very proud of all of us! go, go, go and sip and walk and sip and walk. It will be over and done with and you can sleep and sleep and sip and dream of those smaller sizes to come! Best to you----

Saying a little prayer that everything goes smoothly for you tomorrow. Just remember to sip constantly and walk as soon as they let you get up. Sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
