That is incredible Who'sYaDaddy. I'd be happy with 100 pounds in the first year and I don't even think I'll make that (I'm at -80 pounds with just over 2 months to go).

I had a partial unfill today so I'd better post my weight loss now. Next month might not be so pretty so I will set my goal very low. I used to look enviously on this thread at people who weighed 264 so I'm pretty happy.

I hope StaindGal and GloballyYours are OK. You are so close, I can smell it.

A month ago yesterday I was 329.

Today I got on the scale and for the first time in three years it said something beside 3 _ _.

My scale read 297.6- I hadn't weighed myself in a while bc its a good way to depress me and if I get depressed I eat, so almost two weeks ago when I looked at the scale it had gone up from 306 to 308.

So I excercised some, but mostly I have been concentrating on stopping when I am full. Thats really hard for me.

I go for my first fill April 17th...but if this continues I think I might just say "no thanks"

Even though I sprained my ankle early in the month with all the snow and ice, finally this week I was able to do a bit of treadmill! Can't wait to see the TWOs! Can't wait to get banded.

So, shall we start a new challenge for this month, April 2008? I will go ahead and post first. I am going to go very conservative this month. I have a feeling I am going to need to stop taking my HCTZ, and that is going to play some tricks on the scale.

Good luck everyone!

Hi Ready, you just copy the very last posting of the weight losses and put your personal info on the next line. Your starting weight will be your weight as of right now, or the last time you weighed yourself. And will always stay the same every time you check in. Some people post their tracking once a week and some do it more or less. It is up to you.

Let me know if you need more info. Good luck!

Not So BIG FRED

Yabba Dabba Doooooooooooooooooooo! You legend!

WELCOME TO TWOTERVILLE. You entered in such as grand fashion at 295.

:eek::smile:

:lol::):smile2::lol::thumbup:

On another note. I might pike out on this month due to band issues (fills, unfills, liquids, mushies, chocolate and the like). I will keep a close eye on everybody's progress however. 3 people got there this month, I have my fingers crossed for the rest.

Ok all you twosters or on your way to twostervilles, I need some help. I was banded on 8/24/07 and I've lost about 39 lbs. Not even sure about that. I started at 304 and am now about 265 but havent' weighed since February when I had my last fill. I have an appointment for next week for another fill. I have the large 10cc band and have 7cc's right now. I have almost enough restriction but I'm still doing the wrong things. I've been eating pretty much whatever I want unless it makes me sick and I started drinking beer again. I have no excuse and I know I'm messing up. I'm so sick of being fat. All of my friends say wow, you can really tell you've lost weight, but it has stalled so I'm sure what they're really saying is I knew it wouldn't work. I'm just disgusted by the whole thing. Maybe this isn't the right place to post this, but I want to hit that 200 mark really bad and you all are close or are already there. I just needed to vent this somewhere and landed on you guys. Congratulations on your progress. I just feel so different from all of you...I don't know why.

Elaine

I'm getting soooo close. Can't wait to see the 200's! My insurance packet was sent off this week, so hope to banded soon. I so want to be under 300 before surgery. Some sort of mental thing you know.

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
      Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

      Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

      Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
