Yes Dr.Gluck is doing my surgery. I am now 6 days away from surgery. Thanks Sarah and Carol for sharing your experiences with Dr.Gluck. I am so excited but can't believe it's almost here. I am dropping weight like crazy on this liquid diet. I've lost 13 lbs. in a week! For a split second I asked myself if I can lose weight like this do I need the surgery? Then reality set in that I would never be able to do this if surgery wasn't making me do this liquid diet. I do have a pretty strenuous job though so I'm wondering how long I will be off of work? I've heard a lot of mixed answers regarding that. Thanks for everything!

2 days post op! And I'm feeling alright. The gas was the biggest issue with me. But I'm hangin in there. I had a 2 hour drive home that wasn't the most comfortable yesterday either. Can't wait to recover and start to get some results. The only thing I'm afraid of is drinking water and protein shakes. I don't want to overdo it but I don't want to get dehydrated. Any tips?

Dr Gluck is awesome!!! I had my sleeve done the day before Sarah! :-) My husband has been a patient of Dr. Gluck's for the last 8 1/2 years. Dr Gluck will take you off work 4-6 weeks if you have a strenuous job. I've heard of corrections officers going back in 2-3 weeks IF they can guarantee they won't have inmate contact.

make sure you sip! I has to set a timer on my phone to remember to drink! I tracked. Water, shakes, and walking!! It really helped me. Then I switched to myfitnesspal.com and tracked there for over a year. Mi stopped and have now restarted tracking!
