  • Hey!!! I am from the Houma area and was sleeved June 2 by Dr. Eric Rau. Love my sleeve. I have lost 47 pounds in 8 weeks.

  • Hi. I live on the northshore. Not sleeved yet. Hopefully in February. Surgical specialist is my group. Any body knows of support groups. I'm willing to drive to NOLA or the BR.

Surgery on 12/27 in Mexico. Down 55 pounds

Hi everyone. I' m new to this whole process, I have my first appointment is on the 24 of April and I'm very nervous but excited. Have anyone had the sleeve surgery done at tulane medical center by Charles bellows? If so how was the experience? I really would love some feedback...

I would really like to know how many surgeries a US doc preforms per day. That would be a major concern for me. Would you chose a doc that does 30 patients a month or one that has done 144 per month. Also factor in the years he has been doing it. Just something for you to think about when you go for a visit.

Good luck tomorrow F4M. I'll be thinking about you!

Hi. We had our surgery same day different hospitals. Dr. Lavins my doc. I too had a stall last week. But I have progressed. ,J too am still tired. Exercise consist of walking up and down the driveway. But I see progress more in how I look than the scale. I wish j would have measured my body from the beginning. That way I could track the changes. But stay strong. We will get to our goal weight. You should meet our group for lunch. Kellsbells usually post when and where we go. Were all in different stages and its really helpful. Hope to hearfrom u soon.

Hi finally4Me,...i put in a call to the dietician about the stall...im very disheartened by it....im sticking to the plan as close as possible and to not see anything change in 2 weeks is driving me...my brother had his sleeve done one yr ago and the pounds just fell off him! Ughhhhh! in less than one yr he lost 160+ pounds ..i have thyroid problems so that might be a part of it too. Ive read on this site if you increase calories and Protein, you can break the stall, but if you can hardly get in what you are how can you increase!?...its great that we had our surgeries on same day, maybe we can exchange ideas and recipes and whatever as we make this journey together...just cant figure out what to do next when im doing things by the book and are stuck already!
