  2. How are y'all feeling? Surgery yesterday???
  3. Surgery and recovery were a breeze never had any problems. Except for adjusting to being on liquids and not eating. The one thing I would bring was a heating pad. I used it the whole first week after surgery. It felt so good on my stomach.
  4. LMAO! It's truly unbelievable! I'm now at -71 lbs!
  5. DOS- 3/12/2012- 264lbs Today- 193lbs -71lbs so far!!!!!!!!!
  6. I started at 264lbs and size 20. I'm now 202 and just starting to fit in a size 14!!!!

  9. Dont be suprised if that changes. My skin was great until a few weeks after surgery. Then got very oily and had a lot of breakouts. It lasted 2-3 weeks then it was back to normal.
  10. Thank you! I will search online. My first few weeks weren't bad. I'm now 7 weeks post-op so I guess it's just the hormones. I mainly only have them on my face.
  11. Thanks! I guess I'll have to see a dermatologist. It's crazy like a few hours after I wash my face it's already so oily. It's gross ! LOL
  12. Hi, Have any of you had changes with your skin after WLS! I've noticed my face has become so oily. I'm also having terrible breakouts. I've always been prone to acne around my cycle but now it's full force!!!!

  14. Thanks! I was amazed when I compared pics. It's crazy how 30lbs makes such a difference. I will be 30 in May and feeling so much better.
  15. Kerrie- I am now on solids. I'm doing 3 meals a day of meat wh veggies or fruit. No snacking!

  18. I had to drink 2 bottles the day before surgery. It worked pretty quick so I wasn't up all night or anything. The worst part for me was drinking it. Just make sure you drink plenty of water cause it will dehydrate you. I was a little dehydrated the morning of surgery but it was no problem since they pump you up with fluids.
