Agreed!...theres lots they tell us that just dont seem right or logical....i just figure....they are the professional ones, so I m trying to follow their recommendations...we all want the best possible results ,thats why we chose these extreme measures to get this weight off! .best wishes in your journey!
  2. How is your rate of losing? My scale finally moved again for the first time since week 2!....now on week 6!...I thought it might never move again!I tried increasing my Protein and walking!...I am the first to say I HATE EXERCISE!...but hey... the scale is moving again....I got plenty to lose and I don't want to waste anytime!...Dr said most of your excess. Weight comes off within the first year!

Hi phillip.....i had sleeve done mar 7th....i was a self pay...my insurance bcbs refused to pay any part and also told me if I had complications they would not cover any part of it....1 month out...all went well,..where will you be if you dont get sleeved?...if its necessary,then you gotta go with it!...thats how I determined to sleeve or not.....it was necessary if I wanted to extend my life!...good luck to ya!...remember this is routine to the dr...he could probably do the procedure in his sleep!..just get a good dr...!

  7. Dietician said throw out the scale...quit obsessing over those numbers....get Protein and Water in and stop worrying... Exercise ........stall will break on its own!...

Hi ashley, im dealing with the same issue!....i had surgery mar7 &lost abt 25 lbs first couple of weeks and last 2 weeks nothing!...i called dietician today .its so frustrating...she told me to put the scale away..dont get obsessed with numbers...as long as we are getting Water and Protein in we WILL see results!..so hang in there scale will move eventually...exercise if at all possible too!

If you are pre-op and this is a meal you want,get it out your system! ..a.post op you will not be getting anything like it for a long while!..my understanding of pre-op diet is to get your liver nice and lean for surgery so he can get to your stomach more easily.....so if you've been dieting and its steak you would like before surgery,then go for it!, kind of like a "last supper"....
