Hi everyone!!! Sorry I was MIA!! I had a crazy week and was actually out of town for a few days, faced a few challenges (alcohol, eating out, hotel, etc...) I have not been on the scale for a while but am feeling pretty good. I am happy I made some good choices about eating and when to stop eating. A pair of jeans I packed were actually falling down and loose, so that felt good. I am happier staying off the scale, so I'm going to try to keep doing that. Trying to get my Water in and really listening to my body tell me when I'm hungry instead of going to eat for boredom, sadness, happiness, whateverness!!! I will weigh in on Monday and check in. So happy for you all and just that we're still here posting, checking in and feeling good. GO US!

:cheer2:

Hi there...well I lost 4 pounds last week. A pretty big loss for me and not typical so far. Finally doing better with food. I tried quite a few things this week and everything stayed down fine. I am starting to track calories/fat/carbs just to make sure I am not too out of whack. It is tough because I am eating 1/2 a scrambled egg and 3/4 of a piece of cheese-makes the calculations more time consuming. I don't think I will worry about it daily, but I do want to stay in tough with my consumption. I made an appointment with a personal trainer for this week so I am excited about that. I don't want to be a big flabby mess so hopefully he can help me out ;)

I hit hit two milestones this week. Busted out of the 200s (woohoo) and I have officially lost 1/3 of my weight loss goal. Have a great week and keep losing!

Labrys here...

Sorry for the delay. I was out of town with my sweetie who started radiation therapy for her breast cancer. She seems to be doing well and is handling this thing with remarkable grace.

As for me, there was no loss on Monday :hurt: I have been eating the right things so I think its just this old body is doing some adjustments. Anyway, the pounds are coming off.

Cherice that is soooo wonderful (onederful). :hail: All of you just doing great. I hope to post a loss this coming week. :funscale:

Thanks for being there ya'll and for all the encouragement. You are the BEST. :party4:

Labrys here....

Hooray! Finally and downward movement on the scale. I'm out of most of my clothes, and have been wearing some old smaller clothing. While I lose I shop only at Goodwill and Salvation Army. My sweetheart is losing also but I'm concerned that she is not getting enough nutrition.

I'm still working at getting all my liquids in. Most of the food I eat is Protein. I do have a weakness for crackers though.

I can't tell you all what an encouragement you all have been for me. I know this journey has some bumps in the road, but your encouragement and willingness to share makes the road a bit smoother. Thanks!

Hey all -- just checking in for Wed. (my weigh in day) -- not a great week -- I GAINED .4 pounds. I know, not a biggie, but still. I know that there is a reason behind it -- last Sunday, we (the family, dogs) went for a walk and it was so hot out that I had heat stroke -- so my body immediately held on to all the Water it could - ugh -- gained 5 lbs. from that -- and then it was my time of the month -- so all in all, I guess the fact that I didn't gain more is pretty good. Anyhoo- - just wanted to keep everyone in the loop -- whaaaaa! :/

Don't worry Julie...you will lose it next week! Well, I am a little late, been sick in bed. I am down 1.5 pounds this week, which seems to be about normal for me.

Juliah, no big deal. It happens to me every month too. This is my week now, and I didn't even weigh this morning. I knew I'd just get annoyed. I'll check next Wednesday. You're doing amazing... hugs!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
