Good for you!!! You look amazing and it sounds like your outlook has been the thing that has transformed the most. I know the feeling of dreading things like summer, its such a gift to you, your kids, and your spouse that you are able to be the real you instead of the girl trapped inside. I can't wait!!!!

Congrats!

Anna

You are correct. And that is what I wanted to change the most, my outlook on life, I think that was what suffered the most, and when that does everything starts to crumble. I'm not going to lie, yes I want to lose weight and look good, but what does that matter if you are in a fog? You will do well, anyone that has the right frame of mind will.

You look like a million bucks and for only $10,500 ---- what a bargain. lol Congratulations!

Ha! Thank you!!!! I should probably re-do my signature, I payed a total of $11,500. My loan was $10,500, and I saved up $1000.00 on my own. But, either way if I look like a million bucks, I'm out wayyyy ahead! Thanks!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
