My Doc wants me at 160............. I kinda see the horizon............ yes... it is attainable........... yes i can. yeas I can!!

but I'm not gonna make myself crazy over it. I will get there. And so will you!! I wish you all the best and most success!!!

I haven't done it yet, but am working towards it. I am walking, all I can do right now at 2 weeks post op, but I plan on getting to the gym for more strenuous activity as I get released to do so.

A lot of us looking at the 100 pounds in 4 months are either serious heavy weights(no offense anyone, I myself am in that group) or are guy heavyweights who lose a lot faster than women.

Don't get discouraged, even if I don't make the 100 in 4 months, I am not going to beat myself up over it. I will be happy with what I do lose.

Bill

Hi all, wow, have you all ever done well. . . keep up the good work. . WingRider, you will get to your 100 lb goal . . you seem very determined to do that. . . keep up the excellent work. . . this thing isn't easy but together we'll get there! I fit right in there with the heavyweights and lose alot faster then some one who is "lighter" . . . I'm not weighing in often, only each time i go to the doctor . . . so my next ticker move won't be until February 15th. . . i'm not going to use my scale, cause then i'll become a prisoner to the scale and be disappointed just like before the sleeve. . . good luck all! We can do this!!!!

I just gotta pipe in here and say..... I didn't "PLAN" on losing 100 pounds in 4 months........ it was not a goal....... I just wanted to follow the "plan" and....... it worked. I don't think I will make "goal" by the 9th of Feb. But I'm not gonna beat myself up over that either.

I think that almost 200 pounds by 1 year....... was a bit unrealistic........ my doc says it can be done..... and I was REALLLY ahead of the game. but now. .. my last visit.... I was right on target.... but its not as easy now... I've lost 164.. and am proud of that!!

moka, most of the people on here have been sleeved. some started out with a band and have been revised to a sleeve. it is amazing that these ladies and gents have lost over 100# in 4 to 6 months. what an awesome thought to be down 100#. i have 30 more # to go. don't think i will make it by the 4 month mark but i want beat myself up either. good luck mona and welcome to the sleevers club.

While 100lbs in 4 months might be a little aggressive unless either male or sssob, what is the norms for say 4 months. Is ten pounds a month normal? Is twenty? I am 300 lbs and have my surgery coming up in 4 weeks. I sit here day (or night) dreaming about how I am going to look in a few months. Can anyone shed some light on how much is average. And I do understand that everyone is different.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
