If you eat yogurt, you are taking Probiotics. Just not in a pill. :001_wub:

I take a pill once a day and I'm now taking it twice a day. I got mine at GNC. I doubt it will make me be able to drink milk, but I think it should help with the gas situation. :lol0:

Are you kidding me? I had my daughter do it for me. I had it

all made but couldn't figure out what to do next. She whipped it

out in a few seconds. I don't like the background she choose,

but I didn't want to bug her about that part. In a few days,

I may ask her to fool around with a different background. I don't

think the purple goes very well with the shirt color.

I like that site though Susan. The other one gives everyone a head

with no neck!

I was lactose intolerant before the surgery - however, it affected me differently (out the other end) and I didn't throw up - so there were times when I would suffer the consequences and eat some ice cream -- however, I don't like throwing up so I will now pass on ice cream.

I tried lactaid before surgery and it didn't really seem to make a difference in the reaction my body had to ice cream so I gave up on it. I don't care to drink milk at all and I actually can enjoy my Golden Spoon frozen yogurt as much as I did ice cream. I can't tolerate much of anything sweet as it is soooo very sweet tasting to me.

I had a glass of milk with ice (about 3 oz) last night. Lordy was that a mistake. I guess I am now lactose intolerant. I HAVE to drink milk so I am going to try the pills. I sure hope they work because I love milk.

Hayley, I have been that way since getting my sleeve too. And, I hate it because I really do love milk. I used to drink several glasses a day.

it's weird . It comes and goes for me. I have had small glasses of milk and done okay.

Yesterday I went to a wedding and I could not figure out what I at or drank but I sure had gas and diarrhea (sorry tmi) when I got home.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
