Are you getting your 800 calories that Dr. Aceves recommended? It sounds like you're not eating enough.

Try stopping the watermelon. It has a very high glycemic index, lots of sugar, and it's easy to eat a lot of it because it's mostly "water (sweet water) and goes right through you.

I'm 2 weeks out--Here's my diet--way less than 30 grams of carbs/day

60 grams of protein/day

64 oz liquid

Very little fat

500-600 calories

If you can't lose weight on this diet, call your doctor.

I am 3 weeks out from the sleeve. I have lost a total of 6 pounds. I am so disappointed!. I am eating 6-700 calories. Getting 65 of Protein and carbs around 50. I wonder if I even had the procedure the way the weight is not coming off. Please help me.

I was pretty darn lucky my first 5 months, the weight flew off, but now I'm at a major stand still for the last 2 months. . . I've been told the body hits a stage that it is comfortable with and no matter what you stay at that weight. . I gain 2 lbs, drop 2 pounds, gain 2 pounds drop 2 pounds for the past 2 months. . . but i'm happy at my weight now and feel really comfortable. . .hubbie now stays i could afford to lose another 30 lbs or so, but hey i've done excellent this past 7 months . . . i love the fact that i eat during the day what i ate in one sitting before! i have whatever i want foodwise, however meat and salad still don't agree with me, and am truly enjoying my life. . . i wouldn't stress over your weight loss at this time, i know that its new and you want it all gone right now, but hey you didn't gain all the weight in one day and you won't loose it in one day either. . . be patient, enjoy your new found luxury, focus on something else other then the weight, it's going to come off eventually. . . everyone does this at a different pace. . . good luck!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
