10th Fill

Recommended Posts

So I just had my 10th fill, lost another 5 lbs! Down a total of 46 lbs since surgery 6 months ago!

When the lady did my fill today under fluro, she said all I could hold was .3 cc's. just curious as to what that means???? It didn't really register with me what she said until I had already left. Any ideas as to what she means???

Thanks y'all!

She put 0.3cc of Fluid into your band. As you get closer to green fills become smaller and smaller. It's not unusual for old bandsters to get 0.1cc tweaks for instance.

Yes, I know and understand that she put .3 cc's in my band. My question was, why she would say "that's all I could take". Like that's all it would hold...

I'd say through the Fluro she could tell any more then 0.3cc would make you too tight

0.3cc is 1/3 of a milliliter.

If you have had 10 fills what is your total amount if you don't mind me asking, and what size is your band.

I have 2.5 in a 10cc band and I think I'm finally entering my green zone.

Good luck =)

Wow! You're lucky! I have 4cc's in a 10cc band and i still feel like i can tolerate too much & am hungrier a lot often than i feel i should.

My nurse said i should expect GREEN around 5-7cc's..

My weight loss has been slow, only 14lbs in 6 weeks.

Although i do expect to reach goal by new years.

I have 10.6 cc's in a 14cc band. I was banded 2/28/13.

Hmm, 10.6 CC is a bit. I'm guessing she is just trying to play it safe with the 0.3 CC fill.

I'm not far behind you at about 8 CC, but I couldn't possibly take any more fills. Just more proof to me that everyone requires a different amount of fills.

Thanks, my surgeon thinks one more fill and I'll hit the green. I get my fills from true results and then seen my surgeon a week later. I feel good restriction but not enough to keep my full long enough.., I think another .2 or .3 cc and I'll be great!!

It took me ages to get on the green zone and I'm at the top of my band.

When you say top of your band does that mean it is completely full? I am 9 in a 10cc and still feel like I need more restriction..Scared. Anyone else in this situation?

I'm at 2.5 and I believe I could be tweaked but that's about it. Last visit I opted for no fill since I was doing so well. I have a 10 cc band

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
