Hi i just had a repair done on my band just over a week ago, the port had come away from the tubing, i had a baby in the meantime & put all the 85lbs back on over the 2yrs I am now down 17lbs in over a week which has given me a great boost, i have good restriction as the surgeon put 7cc in while i was under Looking forward to making some lovely friends on here x

I have a 14cc band & my green zone was 9cc, everyone is all different

If you have been told to have the Protein shakes its very important for you to take them, This is my 2nd time been banded due to a leakage, Yes its hard at first, but the results are so rewarding, for so many reasons, Your body needs protein to get you through the healing process of the operation to keep you strong, drinking Water in not enough, you don't want to come down with a cold or something & get real sick.

for me i had no restriction, so could eat/drink anything.

Hi Hun, my surgery date is 14th october, i called the hospital last week & they gave me a date there & then on the phone, can't wait to get it done again, so miss not wearing my smaller size clothes, but they're all summer clothes & were heading into autumn/winter

Hi im not a newbie as this will be my 2nd op in 3 weeks time, due to my band leakage I was banded 3yrs ago, lost 7 stone in 9 months, had a baby etc, fount out last year band is leaking due to gaining all the weight, i thought it was just me but it wasnt, so i know i can do this again, would like to make some friends on here X

Thanks for that as im due to have my port replaced in 3 weeks time after finding out its been leaking & have put all the weight back on, this happened after giving birth to my son 2yrs ago, i go for my pre-op on monday so will put it to them, they checked last year on xray with the leakage X

Hi everyone, im due to have my lapband in 3 weeks time re-done due to leaking I had it first done 3yrs ago & lost 7 stone in 9 months, then had a baby & put all the weight back on, but that was only due to the band leaking to which i didn't know, i just thought it was me, pregnancy,wrong foods,baby etc So this time round im determend to lose all the weight again, I need this so much as i have now serious health problems & i want/need to be around for a very long time for my son who's only 2 1/2.
