I am losing slow but then I don't exercise enough and sometimes eat the wrong foods. I am not worried as long as I don't gain. I have been about the same weight for 3 months and my doctor is fine with that, too.

How do your clothes fit? Mine get bigger and that is a loss.

I think mine is slow, but I figure a slow loss is better than no loss. I've lost 40 pounds in 7 months.

I've lost over 55 lbs in 8 months.i'm a slow loser according to my primary care physician. He is not happy with my weight loss at all. I'm thrilled because it may be slow but it's going down. I keep telling myself slow and steady wins the race.

Are you serious?!?!? He really said that he's not happy? He needs to reevaluate his expections....and most importantly, his motivation skills....just my opinion. Keep up the great progress!

I'm sure your "numbers" have changed.... What does he say about that?!! Like the other BANDit said ^^^^ he should do a better job at motivating and encouraging you. Tell him we said that!!

I have lost 57 pounds in 8 months. Hoping to lose 23 by the end of the year. It is so slow 1-2 pounds a week. My doctor is happy with my progress.

I am also losing slowly. It can be frustrating but I am not ready to give up or give in! Trying to make all these changes so they stick for the rest of my life. Learning to change the way I eat, the things I chose to eat the times I eat them and the reason I eat them.

All those things take some time to learn and adjust to, and my body is just as much a rebel as my mind is!

There are days I think it just holds on to that fat like it's gonna lose its best friend, only it's a toxic friend that has never and will never serve it any good.

I limit the calories, I work it out and it responds about as positively as my kids do when I tell them they have to do something. Eventually it gets done, but I have to keep hammering away at it.

slow and steady will prevail in the end.....larger people can lose more....no idea why just happens.....but 2 pound loss for you is the same 2 pound loss for me....so take it as its coming off and go atta girl to yourself

I was a slow loser. I think it's best because u aren't prone to eat as much and your body truly adapts to eating smaller portions which will aid in you keeping your weight off longer.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
