tomorrow is my day!

I have my Lapband put in tomorrow! I'm excited, nervous, scared, and anxious all at the same time. I look forward to connecting to some of you guys for support, recipes, and an occasional "you can do it!".....

Thanks!

Hooray! Good for you! I had mine on June 20th and am doing great. I was scared and very nervous too, right up until they knocked me out for the surgery I was wondering if I was doing the right thing-- and now I'm so happy I did it! The best words ever, "Wake up, your surgery is over!" lol

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Going for my first fill. :) Best wishes!!!! :)

Wishing you well! I'm getting mine on thurs :)

Good luck!! make sure you ask them for meds to help with the gas relief. It's a hard process but it can be done.

Good luck girlie! See you on the other side!!! Remember...the first three days are the hardest, you'll be okay even if it doesn't feel like it!

Great! Really feeling much more in control of myself and the confidence of doing this "by the book" has helped me shake some (not all) of my nerves about the next step after Thursday!

Let us know how you are feeling.

I made it through this morning..... I'm not going to lie when I got to the hospital I was seriously rethinking this! I made it through and it went quickly..... they told my hubs I was asking could I walk when they woke me up.

I'm sore....but I KNOW it was the right thing for me. I had not weighed during my liquid diet.....but when they weighed me I was 15 down...yay.

I'll update more soon! Thanks for thoughts and encouragement!

Good luck! When I had mine, came home that evening and went next door to visit my in-laws , next morning went for a 1 mile walk. You will do great!!

Congratulations!! Welcome to the other side i had my surgery 20 days ago. The only thing i remember is saying bye to my hub then being wheeled off in the stretcher, but i also for some reason remember a big huge bright light not sure if i woke up during surgery or was still a little woke right before but thats all,

I had a rough first 7 days with the gas and pain, but at day 8 it was like it never happened. I was.back to normal. Remember it gets better and if you have a question there are lots of people here to ask. Not one question is a dumb question.

Congratulations! I am 2 weeks post-op and it is the best decision I have every made!
