Tightness when exercising?

Recommended Posts

I have 33cc's, but no real restriction in my band right now. I've had just one fill and can eat anything, but when I am exercising its like the band seizes up on me. It makes it hard to swallow Water even. Its ONLY when I exercise and after I've cooled down the feeling goes away.

Anyone else experienced this?

Tips tricks to keep it from happening?

I always tighten up when I exercise. This has the added upside of keeping me full for a lot longer than I usually am. When I exercise I try to make sure I hydrate plenty before and after. That's about the best advice I can give. I don't recommend eating right after you exercise. The tightness usually goes down after an hour or so for me.

I'm glad its not just me or some weird thing with my band only. I do need to remember to hydrate a lot more before I exercise. I also drink my Protein shake about 20 min. after finishing exercise...that seems to work pretty well as its liquid and satisfies the eating part of my breakfast/protein needs.

Thanks!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
