Yes.... I gained for three months after banding. I started to see weight loss after my third fill. I also joined a gym, and started to seriously count my protein and calorie intake. The band is a wonderful tool, but it is only part of the equation.

Are you still on liquids, or are you on mushy/soft foods?

I know how frustrated you must be, but as long as you are following your doctors rules ~ mushies I assume by now, lot's of protein, lot's of water, eating only your allowed portion, then the weight loss will catch up....Best Wishes :)

First 6weeks are for healing, not weight loss. Like kaz said "as long as you're following the drs rules", you'll be fine.

Healing takes everyone a different amount of time. Keep following the diet and log your foods on a tool like MyFitnessPal.

if you are losing (inches) then you are losing no matter what the scale says or doesnt say... to gain, you must take in more calories than you burn off...are you doing this?? if not, stop worrying
