Ok so it's been 1 week since my surgery and I'm starting to get hungry! Can't eat like I used too mind but I just made pasta and sauce and puréed it' only had 4 spoons fulls and chucked it away!! I know this is naughty! Please tell me the importance of staying to liquid types of food as I'm afraid my band could slip because I won't heal properly!! This is hard!!!!

Hello I've got a pain in my throat and it keeps coming up then going back down.. I haven't been sick or bought anything up but I've had it for a couple days now.. I'm a bit worried to what it could be??? It seems to have started after I ate some white bread I'm 13 days post op..( I realise I'm not supposed to have bread but I had a weak moment!! ) and I chewed and chewed till it turn soggy and mushy.. Any ideas to what this could be then please comment, thanks x

Why don't you try a small bowl of low calorie ice cream?? Alright I know it's not ideal but if you just have that as a little treat just to have something sweet and different.. It's definitely kept me sane!!!! Just untill your aloud proper foods... cxx

Don't worry about the cheat! Just stick to the doet now!! We all cheat during pre op I think!! Cuz we love food! Hence why we need the surgery lol xxx

Hello I had my surgery 2 days ago and I'm having roughly 2 cups of tea a day, plenty of squash, and milk.. But I'm only having like 1 small yogurt and a small portion of soup?? Is that enough?? I'm hating this gas pain it's really getting me down!! Any tips on how to get rid? Also can I eat soup and drink straight away cuz it's fluids or do I have to count soup as food and wait 45 mins?? Thanks xxxx

Hello just looking to see how much everybody else has lost.. I started my pre op diet on 18th of may, and I've currently lost 19 pounds, is this enough? Or not enough? Please comment what you've lost as I'm interested thanks xxx

I had surgery the same date as you.. And I can't sleep at all it's horrible but I think it's due to these terrible gas pains!!! Call your doctor if your legs are hurting that doesn't sound normal love xxx
