in need of summer clothes size 18W

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am looking for shorts and capris in the size of 18W. I have so many 16's and won't get into them till end of our summer. We are in a hardship and sure could use some support. I would be glad to pay shipping. Jeans are fine, plaid, of just fun stuff. Or 1x size shirts. I just want to look pretty too. Anyone out there can help me? I live in Kenosha County, WI..little township of Silver Lake, WI. Just can't afford to buy clothes. All rummage sales around here are full of average size clothes. If there is a plus size rummage sale, its like personas around here. Again, I would pay the shipping. We have to help each other out. I know when I am done with my bigger clothes I will send them down the line for someone. I believe in giving. Thanks to every can help me. Renee

Hi Renee, I don't have anything that small (yet) but have you tried checking second hand stores? Goodwill, Savers, Deseret Industries, or whatever is in your area? I understand trying to shop for clothes on a tight budget. I buy the majority of my clothes second hand. Good luck to you!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
