- Can I get the sleeve at the same time my band is taken out?
Marci Just heard from insurance and since I'm having complications they cover the entire thing- Can I get the sleeve at the same time my band is taken out?
Do you have to be a certain weight for band to Be removed and sleeve done. I have had so many Complications and pain in the year I have had this band I am down to 153 but still have 40 to go I want this thing Out but need to continue my journey- OMG I GOT APPROVED!
Do you still have to be alot over weight I have had so many complications with this Band I just want it out but want to keep on with My journey I am down to 153 list 52 in a year But still have 33 to go- One year!!!!
- PORT Causing Pain
I have pain alot where the port is almost to the point I wanted it out. My dr said he would move it further away from ribs I don't want another surgery- 2 Weeks Out - How Much Can/could You Eat?
I am on week 4 stomach feeling the same way!!!! My first fill is Monday and I cant wait, I use a 800 to 1000 per day cal diet, I try to eat foods high in protien its keeps me a little full for longer!!!! When I spoke to my Dr he said I will still have hunger pains after the fill. I hope not!! I look for 100 cL snack packs and if it gets real bad I eat those... Good Luck- Day 12 Post Opp. An Hungry
Yep I also know the feeling!! can not wait until I get the first fill so I can actually feel fullafter eating- Day 12 Post Opp. An Hungry
Yea I tried to have the fill early but they said no!! They have to let it heal and swelling to go down, I have next appt 5/20 that will be 5 weeks post op I hope they do it then, I said to Dr that I was hungry he did state thats how your going to feel and then said I may feel hungry after the banding- Welll... Yeah....
Post op went well lost 15.5 since 4/10 still very hungry but now I can eat some foods so its helping, next appt 5/20 hopefully they weill do a fill!!!- Banded!! Surgery Yesterday, The Rest Of My Life, Today.
congrads it sounded like the same night I had after surgery on 4/10!! and yea when you take that walk you will start to feel much better, and wish I had thought of the gas strips that was the worst part- Hello Everyone
I just had band put in on 4/10 going for first post op today, I was a little sore but they give you pain meds for that, you have to walk or the gas pains will kill you!!!! So walk walk walk, I was hungry all weeks because they usually do not fill band during surgery, but I still got full quick and most important stick to post op diet no matter how hungry you feel, its so your band and new stomach can heal!! On my scale I have lost 10 lbs since 4/10 thats only 9 days with an empty band but we will see what dr says I will get back to you...if you want to e-mail me with any ? its bridg29@yahoo.com- Welll... Yeah....
On my way to first post op visit will let you all know how it went,- Day 12 Post Opp. An Hungry
Good luck and its nice to go through this journey with someone!!! - Can I get the sleeve at the same time my band is taken out?
