  • I'm thinking it needs to go into a food processor first to get really mushy...like baby food.

  • Good luck and its nice to go through this journey with someone!!!

  • Was banded on 4/18. I don't think I'm hungry, but still feel tight in my chest. Not painful. Just tight. Like if I take a deep breath, it's tight. Went to dinner with friends last night, MEXICA

When did you get the band?

I know I put chicken in the vita mix and made super smooth and yummy soups. No problems there.

I only had my surgery on Friday and I'm already starving!

Your not failing because Im hungry too!! 7 days out, I do go to drs on thursday, I dont think they filled band with anything, I forgot to ask before I left hosp, So alot of water, crystal light, and talking to you guys

I have like zero energy. I just wanna lay down all day and nap. I have my post op appt Thursday. I hope I can have some food then.

My post op is Thursday too, let me know how you made out! @ if you didnt gt sick from the chicken by now you should be ok just watch those solid foods

I had my band 6 days. I had a bite of chicken. We will see what happens.

If you didnt get sick by now u should be ok, waatch those solid foods though until your post op

I know its been 7 days for me, I had to eat egg whites last night could not take the hunger pain anymore

So nice to know I'm not the only one feeling like this.

It's not that the food will make u sick, the issue is that ur stomach has to grind to process the food which can pop a stitch giving u problems later down the road (slips)
