I cleaned for the last two days too. Lol! I figured I'd feel better if my room was cleaned. Then I totally rearranged my side of the bed with a bigger side table and a basket for all my books, medicines, chargers, etc. Now I'm settling in to read a chapter and hopefully go to sleep. You're just an hour behind me tomorrow, I'll wait to hear from you! Good luck!

Hello! So it's been a week and a day since I had my lap band surgery! I have lost 20 lbs, and I feel great! I haven't felt like I've been recovering from surgery at all, my life is back to normal as it was, including the foods I can eat. I have followed my post-op diet pretty well, but have noticed when I slip up that some foods they say will bother you, don't. An example, my family and I went to eat Mexican food a few nights ago, and I ordered refried beans( on my doctors list), but they came with a side of rice( not on his list). I ate some rice , and had no problem with it at all? I know no matter what I should follow my doctors list, but it's difficult...

Solson8201- how are you??

Just got home from the hospital. Feeling ok right now. Gas pain is the only thing bothering me- makes it hard to take a deep breath.

I'm feeling good too. I was very nauseous after surgery from the anesthesia, which was pretty miserable. Better now though. I got home a little while ago. Gas pains not too bad (I think because all the wrenching made me burp a lot). Glad it went well for you too! Talk to you tomorrow :-)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
