You can usually get sampled from your doctor or nutritionist. You can also buy samples at the Vitamin Shoppe and other stores like that. You can find lots of way to make shakes taste better by adding things like sf ff pudding miix, sf syrups or pb2(a powdered peanutbutter product) you just have to take chance and learn to be creative. I like unnury and nectar. Nectar because they have tons of different flavors. Best of luck! You can also buy Unjury samples on line.

ANYTHING FROM SYNTRAX! Either their nectar line or their Matrix line, All are awesome and you can't go wrong! I must have 7 different Proteins from them and I love them all.

I agree with Destinedladyd...We have had the choc truffle Roadside Lemonade (Love this one) and the vanilla. You can add anything to the Vanilla one!!! The kiwi straw was not my fav. Not a fan of artificial strawberry.< /p>

I use the premier Protein shakes, in chocolate and vanilla. I get them by the case at costco. They taste good and my doctor approves them. I'm on my last day of the "liquid mile" as I have started referring to it. Surgery tomorrow and I have lost 17lbs in 13 days. I travel alot and need convenince, these taste good enough that I will likely continue them on travel days after I hit solid food.

Good Luck ...

I just wanted to add that I know a lot of people buy pre made shakes. My experience is that none of those satisfy me. I am hungry immediately after. I find making my own shakes and flavoring them with ice blended satisfies me more. Having said that I rarely use shakes after hitting solids. They will not satisfy me enough to be successful and I would much rather eat. Best of luck to everyone!

Premier chocolate! Believe me, I've tried them ALL and Premier are the best. 12 in a case for abt $16 at Sams Club or costco. 30 grams of Protein, only 5 carbs.

I use vanilla or unflavored and then mix in the "Mio-style" drink liquid into the blender. So far, I've added Grape and blueberry. Both rocked and give such better variety! My biggest challenge is getting the frothiness to actually go past my stoma.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
