Excited ....Date night with hubby

Recommended Posts

Well I know that this forum are all about the bandings but I just wanted to share with my band family that we are having a date night before my banding since it will be awhile that we will be able to go out to eat togeather due to my healing stage process. If you don't already do this with your spouse I encourage it. I love our date nights after 21 years it still excites me :) Just wanted to share my excitement with you all !!!

Date nights are the best and all married people should do it no matter what. We do it often and it is so much fun.

27 years and date nights are the best. Don't forget dates don't always have to include food. coffee shops are great as well. If you go for dinner after you heal it's totally doable with planning.

Enjoy

Wendy

We went an did a little shopping togeather an had a very nice steak dinner at a Lil place outta town that cooks the steaks as you order them on an open Pitt grill it's called " Chuckwagon" so you can imagine how country western style the place is ...... And I must say it was awesome an I didn't consider this meal a cheat because I'm still allowed 2 shakes a day an 1 meal so I skipped a shake an the steak with potatoes added up my Protein an Water to drink so ...... Yeaahhhhh I stayed on track an focused !!!! An on top that had a great date with hubby so I am all :)'s

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
