Last Sunday I went through a day feeling like I was in banster hell.....

just wanted to eat eat eat......

this Sunday started with a tooth ache so I took 2 ibraprohins....with my coffee...

then I had a yogurt and could eat only half the cup....we were running late for church so

I didnt think much of it...put it in the fridge for later...

Got home and started lunch ate the yogurt i didnt finish earlier...i felt fine...

I dished out lunch and 2 bites into it I knew I was stuck.....

it lasted ALL DAY....i retched and sat in the bathroom most of the afternoon and night...

A few times I tryed getting some Water down and it hurt even more till it came back....

Finally i got to go to bed and i hurt most of the night...and even had reflex....which I have never had....

So this morning i tryed a lil coffee...it went down but i could feel it going down.....i had a lil yogurt and it was ok to...i did it it very slow...

I did call my Doctor...he is off today but said he could be in the office at 3:30 he would like to see me....

So I am going to ask to have a lil removed from my band...i have had one to many stucks....

even though I know its my own fault for not paying attention....

That's what happened to me a few times also when I had to have some removed. Had a few stuck episodes and the swelling wouldn't go down. Immediate relief afterwards! Hope you are feeling better soon.

If you have to have a little removed, that's not your fault "for not paying attention". If anything, you should feel proud you recognize the fact what you're experiencing isn't normal are getting a little unfill. Too often people walk around with bands too tight and end up with slips.

...the fact you realize this, and are getting taken care of, makes you one of the wise ones :)

Ask your surgeon about taking Ibuprofen. My doc said not to take any Nsaids, including aspirin and ibuprofen.

I am currently dealing with a small rotator cuff tear, bursitis and tendinitis in my left shoulder and my band doc and my ortho are in agreement that I should not take any kind of anti-inflammatory because of the risk of band erosion.

Well I went to Dr and he removed all Fluid from my band...he says we will see how i feel on Thursday then fingers crossed put it all back in...

He even told me to stop and get a milk shake on my way home and help my throat feel better......

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
