Just keep in mind MODERATION is key and only take a few bites also chew every piece very slow , please don't over do it unless u want to be in pain and of cours we feel guilty after we eat it , but then we just get back on track so remember where u were before the band and where u want to be after the band, this is just a suggestion u know u and I know me I have a 14cc band and have 91/2 cc filled in it till this Wed. then I think I am going to ask the Surgeon to fill my tire a bit more .

what's upsetting about a funnel cake? You should be so proud of yourself for opting not to eat it since there is something like 700 calories in a slice.... Depending of course on the size.

After the losing stage you can have a few bites and you will be fine. I suppose you could even have a few bites during the losing stage as long as you track your calories and count it as part of your daily intake. Personally I think it's a big chunk of your food for the day and I wasn't willing to not lose that day for a piece of cake. But that's just me. Some people go about losing much more slowly so it's an individual choice.

I just wanted to throw out this advice...

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels ;)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
