My last "disagreement" with my dad was 4 years ago. He was upset that I had gained so much weight. He was crying and told me it was so unhealthy. I told him he she love me unconditionally. My dad died a year ago from ALS. I know now that I MUST lose this weight as I want to be healthy, 50 AND fabulous!

I am scared but I know this is the right course for me. I am a confidante for lap band surgery.

As long as you have thought long and hard and are ready to commit to a new life style then congratulations.

Do you research and find a good surgeon, someone you are comfortable with.

I get my band place next week and I can not wait. I am so ready for this and need is so badly. I am ready to get my life and body back to where it was ten years ago

I am so ready! I am going thru a well known female surgeon that comes highly recommended. I have really just begun and I am PRAYING it does not take a long time.

I just starting my journey. Scared to do it but more scared not too. Ultimately excited about where I will wind up. Went to a support group meeting and it helped a lot. Going back next month.
