calling banders in below zero temps or near zero

Recommended Posts

Not sure if that works, but last week it was -40 here (literally, the second coldest place on the planet that day) and my husband took a cup of Water outside, threw it into the air, and it froze/evaporated before coming back down. Very very very cold that week.

We did this when I was in Minnesota for my father's birthday back in 2005. It was -32. We did it several times, because we thought was cool!

i cant wait to see what happens next

When I was a teenager, we went to a drive in restaurant. It was too cold to leave the meal outside, so we took the tray in. we forgot it was there. In the morning, the ketchup had squirted out of teh bottle. It was frozen!!!

Not ashamed, I lived long enough in ND growing up. I lived in Maryland for 42 years. i am very happy living in Florida where cold is in the 40's or 50's.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
