Love this idea for salad for lunch. The possibilities are endless!

FYI 2 new bansters not to be a downer but salads are often a slider food.

I believe by definition a slider food is easy to eat and can pack on the weight because it is high in fat and sugar.

If a salad goes down easy who cares?!

Quinoa is also good. It is a grain, gluten free and has Protein.< /p>

Dressing on the bottom, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spinach, couscous

This is on Pinterest; the cous cous/ground turkey is actually quinoa, can't miss that little curl of the hull...I pinned one exactly like this last spring...great idea and green (no pun intended) too!

Did I say anywhere in my post that I made this. I was passing it on and that was it. Why dont you please go have your vertical sleeve done and quit bothering everyone in this forum including me. If you would spend half as much time taking care of you and stop trying to prove me wrong you would be a lot better off. I never said I made this Ms Maui or whom ever you are I said it was a great idea. Please stop quoting all my post. You are only making yourself look bad. What are you gaining. I could care less if you posted this to pinterest. Isnt the whole idea of the nutrition to post tips that we all could use. Such a piece of work.

Here's the facts...cous cous is coarse ground semolina, semolina is used to make Pasta...quinoa has slightly more Protein per serving...15% vs 14% for semolina and cous cous. They all are great, but if you want adequate Protein, add some cheese, garbanzo Beans or even some grilled chicken....

Wow...a bit sensitive, are we. I recognized the photo, that's all. I've gotten a lot of great ideas off Pinterest. We've been eating quinoa for years, love it and it looks nothing like ground turkey :-?

Just basing my observation on your response...no issues, just letting folks know the source. I love Pinterest...lots of great ideas.

Here is a trick to eating salad everyday for lunch. Make a few jars on Sunday night and just grab one to bring to work every day. When you're ready to eat' date=' just shake it up. The key is to make sure the dressing and the Leafy greens don't touch.[/quote']

This is BRILLIANT love it , I will have to share this with my hubby for lunches and working kids!!!!! We LOVE salads!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
