some do and some dont (but just because i didnt) does not make me any better. so you cheated. ok, its over and done with so now get right back on track. the diet is to help prepare your liver for surgery. if you are really concerned, call and tell the dr and let them advise you. but i am guessing (just guessing) you are fine. just dont do it again. find that want power and hang in there. its hard but so very worth it. you deserve to be healthy. so do it :)

I was banded in july. I slipped up once also. Its ok, just Be strong and try to stay on your diet for the next 7 days. I found that keeping myself busy and staying away from people who were eating helped me to stay on track.

I was banded in july. I slipped up once also. Dont beat yourself up too bad. Remember what you are doing this for. Its ok, just Be strong and try to stay on your diet for the next 7 days. I found that keeping myself busy and staying away from people who were eating helped me to stay on track.

No I was scared to death to cheat truth be told.... Lol. But if you did... Just move on and don't do it again. The liquid diet will help you with several things... You will learn you can live without eating solids...you just need nutrition. Food is just the vehicle we use to get it in our bodies. Now you will know its not the only way thus realizing you do not need to eat. Also you will realize you have the will power to get through the liquids needed for post op recovery....depending on your dr it could be several weeks. And lastly you will have a healthy liver for surgery. You don't want your dr not being able to see behind at big fatty liver do you?

Best wishes for your success!
