First off, Congrats on your band. Welcome to bandland.

I felt the same way in the beginning. Just eat when your stomach starts to growl. Ignore the head hunger. You will get use to it.

Welcome to the other side....

I have truely never felt hunger since being banded. for me it has all been head hunger. I eat my premeasured portions (when ever possible ) at regularly scheduled times (as my work schedule will allow). I try not to eat more than three meals a day. If i do give into the head hunger I try to stay with protein bars and healthy snacks like cut up apple slices or a small handful of frozen blueberries or a snack pack of yogurt. This is where a call to your nutritionist comes in handy. Call and ask for them to call you back or to email you snack/ meal ideas. They usually are more than happy to help.

Best of luck on your Journey.
