Good idea TFM, but it aint the same. The granola I buy isat Sams Club, and a tropical type and if kept to 1/3 cup per yogurt, calories arent that bad, but who am I kidding. Ive never measured much in my life. Dont even have a scale as of yet. THAT's what the Doctors Office is FOR!ROFL!:

Daily Chef fruit & Nut Blend - Tropical Mix - 44 oz.

Divinity in a BAG!

I don't like the sour Greek either. I get the Fiber One light peach or Dannon light peach and add a little Cereal for crunch. The All Bran little pellets! The look like rabbit food. That replaces the granola!

Please don't take this as mean spirited. For most of us worrying about the carb level in fat free Greek yogurt is the least of our worries. For WLS patients it has excellent Protein level. Recent research also shows people who eat yogurt several times a week have lower blood pressure and less chance of heart attacks.

I add Splendra to help with the sourness.

For Breakfast (everyday) I have Chobani yogurt and add half a scoop of whey isolate Protein powder, flavorless fiber powder, Splendra (mix all together); and about 1/2 cup high Protein Kashi Go Lean and some walnuts. About 300-350 calories for Breakfast but I don't need a mid morning snack so I feel the cal. level is fine. Both my Nurse Practitioner and Nutritionist know about my breakfast for what it's worth.

Its not that i worry about the carbs but that if i eat even the smallest o sugar my blood sugar will shoot up in the 200s then down to 50. I was type 2 diabetic before my surgery and now Im off diabetic meds but still can't tolerate grams of sugar over about 10. I did notice i can exchange a Greek yogurt for my only cup of skim milk daily.

I also like to use plain Greek yogurt in place of sour cream.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
