You can definitely see a difference, just remember our eyes and brain lose wieght a lot slower than our bodies, we are so used to seeing big, our perception is totally screwed till we have as long being smaller as we were big !

I can definately tell a difference! Not just in the actual photograph.... but you look like you have much more self-confidence ! It seems to come through in the photos ! Congratulations!

Yes I can see a big difference. You look a lot smaller. This is great, keep up the good work. I have lost 58 lbs and cant really see much difference either, but had to buy one size smaller clothes. Yay for us!!!!

If you had posted these pics without a caption, I would have thought these were pics of two different people! You have done so well! Congratulations!!!

Wow! Really? You can't see the difference? You look amazing! Keep up the good work. You can tell just in your smile and body language that there is something different, not to mention you're smaller. Way to go!

What you are describing with having difficulty with recognizing the difference between your before picture and current picture is not uncommon...it does take our mind some additional time to catch up with body to revise the body self image.

Another example that I can laugh at now was the automatic thoughts regarding my weight as I fell into "onederland"...for months after I got below 200 pounds, I would still automatically think of my weight beginning with a 2 instead of a one.

You will eventually have your mind and body in the same place...however you are still going through adjustments.

Congrats on your progress!

Boy what a difference! You look great. Your mind will catch up in time..... The biggest reinforcement for me isn't the scale, it's the clothing sizes. I started at 20W and now I a wearing 12's.This morning I realized that I wear the same size as my 13 year old daughter, boy is she going to be pissed when I tell her I can wear her clothes.....lol

Absolutely see a difference! You must FEEL lighter as well. I've lost 20 lbs and I don't really see a difference at all but I feel lighter and don't have this big stomach in the way anymore. Plus I have no more lower back pain when I walk!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
