I've finally decided to name my band. She's only a week old, but it came to me as I was doing my hair today...

Her name shall be know from here on out as Bon Qui Qui! Because I know she will "cut me" if I treat her bad. She will tell me "don't make me get crazy" if I eat too much or the wrong thing. I know she's going to be a good friend. ;) Happy Band Naming!

Now look what you got started D.R.! LOL

Based on the way mine has been acting, since my last fill, I think you are correct in assuming it is a female entity! LOL

How about Mi angel de la guarda?

I think Miss Wallflower needs a pretty Spanish name for her band too! How about one that matches her personality and is entirely female? Bella dama, which is Spanish for "Beautiful Lady". ;)

Leave it up to a wild-eyed southern girl to come up with the name "Dixie"!

Don't throw anything CG!! I am just kidding. Actually my very first girlfriend in the entire world was named Dixie Johnson and she was sweeter than honey on a cat head biscuit!

Don't mess with the pink princess, she has an evil twin. I've seen it & it's not pretty. Lol

Oh, I know all too well about that evil twin!

She has a way of crawling out of the woodwork, when you least expect it! LOL

Now, on the other hand, the "Pink Princess" is a real sweetheart most of the time!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
