Just wanted to updat yall on my weight journey so far! Soooo

Starting weight 287

Surgery weight 271

First fill weight 260

Second fill weight 255

Third fill weight 246

Weight loss since surgery 25 pounds

Total weight loss 42...im so proud of myself!!

Thanks it feels so good to see the scale go down month after month...makes me really happy about my decision to get the lapband!

Awesome! Keep up the great work! My surgery date was 6/26/12, I have lost 43 lbs. not proud yet lol. It's so refreshing to hear u are:) best wishes

Be proud of what you lost!! My surgery was June 29 and I'm down 30lbs!! I'm no longer 300 lbs!!! Best feeling ever!!! This journey is so hard and worth it!! Keel up the awesome work!! Congrats!!!!

Thank u, I'll try harder:)! Yes I also said bye to the 300's. Ok I'm proud I fit in a Denny's restaurant booth, with no problem! Yippee;)

Be very proud!! Remember were use to see the scale number go up!! My sx date was 9/10/12. Its been very difficult to stick to thiis diet while others are eating tacos burritos!!

This is a hard journey but so worth it, as long as i see the scale go down i feel great, yes i wanta eat when i see other people eating pizza, burgers, fries all that..but ive chosen to lose weight, be healthy and eat healthy...i have 76 more pounds to get to my goal weight and im on my way and loving my band, be strong everyone and remember how good looking and how healthy we r going to be!! :)

That's great!! I got banded 9/4 and on my 8 day post op appt I was down 14pounds. I started exercising at the gym today as well, my plan is not to get on any scale unless it's at my drs appt. for fills or checkups....my first fill is 9/24......yay!

Good job wisegirl i try to do the same just weight myself when i go for my monthly fill...keep up the good work...im loving my band!

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
      Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

      Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

      Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
