nelle1230 53 Posted September 12, 2012 Hey there ladies, Is there any one that had their procedure soon after giving birth? I was on the way to getting my surgery (already met with surgeon and everything, and was just waiting on the call toi schedule my surgery) and found out I was pregnant. I am due in January and I am hoping to get my procedure while I am still out on maternity leave but is a month or two too soon to have the procedure? I don plan on breastfeeding, but not exclusively, so the baby will be used to formula already. I have already sent a message to my surgeon and am still awaiting an answer but I'm getting really impatient. Any advice would be handy, and thanks in advance! TracyW2 137 Posted September 12, 2012 Hmmm good question. I know I had my lapband surgery on dec 17 and had wisdom tooth surgery on dec 30. Yes I had to be completely put out in the hospital for my wisdom teeth. Both surgeons approved this. Best of luck 1 ladyTy reacted to this
pearlyone 24 Posted September 18, 2012 I had mine 6 months after delivery. Not sure what the limit is but I would ask your doctor. If u plan to use insurance they may require 6 months diet monitored by a Dr so check into it as soon as possible.
Krussell19 217 Posted October 7, 2012 Unfortunatley you will probably get a diffrent answer from each and every doctor.
