Called the clinc and there closed until Mon! Sum1 tell me what to do I'm not a happy camper right now! Is it the swelling from the fill or could I really b too tight after just .6? Even if your doctor's office is closed, they should have an after hours contact number or answering service? Did your doctor give you his card or do you have the number of the nutritionist? You must have afterhours numbers for someone?

If you can't get 32 ozs of Fluid down(per day) I'd go to the ER if all else fails. You could be swollen and it may go away or maybe not?

Did you eat anything solid?

Yea I tried to eat right after the visit yesterday even though I know better but I was hungry, Needless to say I got two bites and that was it threw up about an hour later, the doc office gave me a number to an ER clinc but I'm scared they might remove all the Fluid and I'll have to start all over!

Throwing up is something you must try to avoid. You probably have a lot of swelling from the fill and the barfing. The convulsion in your stomach to remove the objects can be very violent and this will obviously irritate the area around the band. If you can manage to get 32-48 ozs of Fluid down your swelling may go down. But, monitor this closely and go to the ER if you can't get any fluids down.

Thank u, I've been taking small sips of Water like every 20 minutes just to get it down! I think ur right about the barfing causing extra swelling!!

Are you really puking, like you drank 6 margaritas on an empty stomach or are you spitting(PBing) up Water? If you are puking, go to the ER now. Or, do you have a primary doc? Call them asap.

it definately affects me a lot... and i have to be cautious about eating again. i know its hard but every fill or vomiting episode can cause swelling and irritation... and having liquids is the only way to get through it. I had 1cc fill in the last two months... it was too tight (4cc) and i had to have .05 taken out again. im hoping to have another fill in two weeks... but im only wanting .05. it only takes a little amount of fill to significantly change the band... im not having anymore than .05 this next time. i hope that you get some help.... and that you are o.k. judy

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
