Lost My Tatas

Recommended Posts

They are gone. :-( I went from a 40C to barely a B. While I am super super happy with my weightloss progress I'm just so upset with the disappearance of my breasts. I never would have thought so but I am now saving money for plastic surgeries including some breast work. I miss having breasts.

That being said, it is still worth it.

It's too bad we can't chose where to lose weight from! I have lost a whole cup size since surgery about 13 weeks ago. I had breast reduction surgery when I was 18, and was very happy with my chest the past few years. Now...well not so much. BUT, I embrace the weight loss, smaller boobs, the looser skin on my tummy, and my port showing because it's paired with jeans that are 4 sizes smaller, thighs that only no longer touch in most places, and no longer needing an "X" in front of my shirt sizes. So, I get what I get :)

Yes, my bra size is down (40D to 36C), and husband is lamenting the change. I've reminded him that I'm still larger than I was when we were married...and he had no complaints back then... .

I'm so happy with my smaller sizes that it just doesn't matter to me!

Wishing continuing success to all...

Push up bras are my new best friends! I nursed 3 kids for all at least a year, plus the weight loss. My boob flap jacks are a far cry from the full DDD I use to carry around.

I'm with you, TracyW2, although my loss is still to come. 3 kids!

To be honest these honkers are always in the way. I was an athlete in my earlier years so I can't stand this

Grass is probably always greener but I have giant tatas and I've notices they're significantly smaller and I'm thrilled. I was planning on having breast reduction next year but I'm wondering if I'm even going to have to now. For me this is great - id gladly trade places with you if I could!!

Now that you mention it, these are far easier to run with. I've become addicted to running so I guess that's a good thing!

Are you losing the weight from everywhere? This is one of my concerns in having the surgery.

I can't wait to lose some of my tata's, I'm a 44DD, whew! However, being that I've lost 31 lbs so far since surgery they seem smaller but I haven't changed bra sizes yet. Looking forward to it tho.

Are you losing the weight from everywhere? This is one of my concerns in having the surgery.

I'm losing weight porportionately, but I have more to lose from my abdomen and thighs. My back and sides were actually the first place to slim down, then I noticed my collar bone shows and my face was getting thinner. I do a variety of exercises to try to keep losing from all over, but should probably focus a little more on my stomach :)

I've lost 80 lbs so far and am only 3 lbs away from one-derland and 6 from my lowest weight ever. I have lost all over. I have more to loose in my belly and thighs than other areas and I will most likely need excess skin removed from those two areas. my upper arm skin seems to be shrinking (Yay!) so that remains to be seen. I would say the tatas weren't noticeably smaller until around 65lbs down. I was able to make the old bras work until about 75lbs. At that point I could fit a fist in the cup with all the extra room.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
