what y are u before me we got banded the same day  lol.. I am the 17th... Are you still eating the 4oz only??? I haven't bought one either . Where do you live, do you have a gym by you or work start by walking in the park or going to the gym on the treadmill. I love taking spinning its pretty intense its going to take about 2 weeks on the treadmill before i can do spinning again though its been a few years lol. The gym always seem to work better for me I try to do the park but never stick to it, so if im paying for a gym i feel that i have to go, im going to try and join one this week.

That is weird. Maybe because of scheduling? I dont know. I haven't really been measuring things out. Probably bad but I just eat til I'm not hungry. As for the gym, I hate the gym and hate exercising lol I guess I'll start slow by taking the dog for nice long walks or taking my daughter for a walk with her "monster truck"

I'm nervous about this first fill. Everyone says it won't hurt but I don't believe them for some reason lol

I live in Garfield. How about u?

thats a good idea. maybe i'll start out with like 3 one hour walks a week and go from there. running is supposed to be really good for you but thats another thing i cant stand. maybe when i lose some weight i will change my opinion but id much rather play a game of basketball or something then run aimlessly.

I called them yesterday because I was nauseous for 2 days straight and had been dry heaving a lot. I was also really dizzy and almost passed out a few times. They sai no doctor would be in until 1 (I called them when they opened) and when he/she came in they would tell her what's going on and she would call me right away....no one err called me. I had to call them and the doctor had no idea I had even called earlier.

I'm gonna try to take some deep breaths and have a nice appt today but if they keep up their **** I found another dr in ridge wood I can go to

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
