What Would You Recommend At A Restaurant?!

Once again I hope this is not a stupid question, but I will be starting solids next and it just happens to be my birthday!!(Day 3 of solids) I found out that it is at a greek restaurant..Nobody really knows that I have had this done, so does anyone have any suggestions that may go down easy?? I was looking for soup but it is not their specialty...

Hey,

I haven't seen any other postings about Greek food. Most Greek restaurants have avglommeno (sp?) soup. You could also maybe eat the insides of a dolmade. I believe that's finely chopped meat inside a grape leaf. Both are Greek specialties.

I suppose you know this already, but look at the online menu in advance. I can't go anywhere without doing that.

Good luck and happy birthday!

Ooooh love Greek food!

Hummus and Feta cheese are 2 options, and yes the soups are always safe:)

Greek places usually have chicken cabobbs sp? with grilled veggies and without (use tksiki sp if necessary) . If they don't have lemon soup find another Greek place!

Higher in fat pasticho (baked Pasta may have ground lamb). Mousaka baked veggies and potato probably would go down well; but has white sauce so high calories. May have fish as well.

Stay away from spanocopita/tiropita may get clumpy in the pouch (and crazy high calories).

If you can eat potato Greek roasted potato with garlic is too die for!

What makes you feel you will have trouble getting anything down?

How many fills have you had?
