Today is going to be a real challenge!

Breakfast: oatmeal and home stewed apples

lunch: St Dalfours wild salmon and vegetables

dinner - well, that depends on the menu at the very fine winery where the boss is taking some of us for dinner tonight. I am working hard at keeping my cals low all day, plus I had an extra long walk this morning, just so I can enjoy dinner tonight. Not that I can go wild and eat the menu, but it would be nice to have a taste of mains and dessert, and maybe a glass of wine.

Good idea!! I am 2 1/2 weeks post op so I am in bandster hell right now, but still trying to stick to eating well.

Breakfast--2 egg whites, 1 egg yolk

Lunch--1/2 turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread and applesauce

Dinner--grilled tilapia, and half of a bacon potato with ff sour cream

I didn't add the calories up but from all of the weight watcher days, I know I'm good. Tonight I will either have a ff fudgesicle or yogurt.

Has anyone else ever tried this? I have not had a fill yet so I have no problems eating it. You take 3-4 large apples a little on the tart side, peel, core and chunk them up and put into a gallon ziploc bag. Add 1/2 pkg of sugar free strawberry Jello. close the bag and shake it up till all pieces are coated! Delicious! Satisfaction for that need for both crunch and sweet!

I love eggs hard boiled. To me they are so much more filling than scrambled or sunny side up!

Yes Judy, thankfully I still can after only 1 fill. I was banded 2/14/12 down 15.5 lbs since. Hopefully after my 2nd fill I will still be able to eat anything and everything w/no problems. We shall see:)

I had surgery, for the second time, on March 8. Today I didn't have anything for Breakfast just drank something. I had some egg salad for lunch, and tonight I am having potato Soup. Cannot wait until Wednesday when I can move to more soft foods. Not a big fan of the pureed/mushies.

its snot an easy time after being banded, thats for sure. it certainly does test our will power. lol. this morning i had barley green and one scoop of Protein Drink in 200 mls of water.. it wasnt bad. im thinking that maybe this will be my breakfast, if i can manage to drink it every morning.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
