I don't really care about the website (I have the app on my phone). I just care about syncing it. And to clairfy, I DON'T need wifi to SYNC the fitbit? Just my computer and the station right? Sorry...still a little confused lol.

Ok, I did a bit of a test last night. I couldn't see my stats on my phone until the fitbit synced to the computer through the internet. It somehow has to get to the website for it to get to your phone as the phone app and web app work hand in hand. Do you have internet at home? I'm only able to sync mine while at home so during the day I just look at the device itself to see how I'm doing. I'm sorry if this isn't clear or answering your question. I hope it helps a little. unsure.png

Thank you. Yeah it's as I suspected. I do not have internet at home. Because I have the iPhone, I found that I wasn't using it so got rid of it. I loaded everything at my moms. I'll just have to try to go to my moms a few times a week I guess lol. No big. Thanks for your help!

Did you find one? I ordered from Best Buy website because they didn't have any in stock, it was defective. So i returned it and ordered from Amazon. But you could always order it from their site. There's no big price difference anywhere because it's so new I guess.

I added everyone whose fitbit site was listed here. The only thing i don't like is I guess mine doesn't sync up at work. and I work overnights, so it looks like i haven't done anything when i have. I guess i will always be a day behind. Oh well.

I can't seem to figure out how to add friends in fitbit. I don't know if it's because it's Monday morning or if it's because I'm just a doofus. Can someone please help me?

I just had a major scare re: my Fitbit. I thought I lost it this morning. Clipped it to my bra strap as usual and ran to the pharmacy and came home. Went to sync up info and realized it was gone! Back tracked my steps and even called the pharmacy to notify them if someone found it. In the big scheme of things in life, it's not the end of the world, however, "she" has become my new BFF and lifeline on this journey. I looked around again, and lo and behold it had fallen into my bra!!! Thank God. That'll teach me not to rush & be so careless when putting it on.

To add friends, go to the dasboard page, and find the My friends section. You can "find friends" via Facebook or via email. I don't know how to add a friend based on their web page.

I would love to have this group as Fitbit friends, so anyone that would like to add me, my email address is pugsx300@gmail.com. I have a facebook account, but I don't use it except in cases of emergency, and I'm not sure what my username is. I'd guess it's either pugsx3 or pugsx300, so it's safer to go by the email address!

      Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
      I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

      Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
