Hello, new to the forum!

Hi name name is Gloria and I was banded 2/6/06, 10 days post-op. I am new to the forum and I'm so glad I found this site. Is there any advise you can give me on what slides down easy. For example I know applesause, scrambled egg, soup and mashed potatoes go down very easy, can anyone give any more ideas? I'm bad at trying to be creative so I need major help. I'd appreciate any responses and like I said before I'm sooo glad I found this site. :biggrin1:

Hi Gloria, welcome to the board.

I would think that your doctor has given you some good guidelines for post-op eating. So be sure to follow his (or her) instructions. It's very important to your success.

With that in mind, I would suggest you look through the food forum. There are many great threads in there where others have posted what they are eating at different stages of the post-op days.

Grats on getting your band, and here's to a successful and exciting journey!

Thanks Susan! I guess I posted to soon I actually did see the food forum, which was very helpful. I wanted to post here first before I responded to any of the forums to indroduce myself. I saw what you and mostly everyone has acomplished and it is truly inspiring.

Good luck and I'm sure you'll be seeing more of me on here!

Welcome Gloria, Glad to have another bandster here.
