  1. I waited 4 days...I'm a nympho!
  2. I was going to eat a hot dog tonight, it's a good thing I found this thread...no more hot dogs for me! I'm so glad everything worked out and you look great.
  3. I got my first fill today and I'm so excited. I lost the 4 lbs. I gained last week, phew! C 281 (-29 total and -4 this week)
  4. I gained the four pounds that I lost last week, grrr! I also have my period...which has to amount for something (I hope)! :guess Which brings me to another thing, I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18. I rarely got a period once or twice a year. I'm now 32 and I got the last two periods on my own without taking provera. I'm on metformin...2000 mg per day since August that still didn't help. Well the Sunday after I got the lap band I got my period, which may not sound like a big deal to most of you but I was thrilled. 30 days later I got my period AGAIN (with the help of metformin), which I'm so happy about. Like I said, this may mean nothing to most of you but I'm more happy about that then losing the weight! In any case I'm going to try and do better next week. Last week was my birthday and I cheated a little bit (maybe a lot). C 285 (+4) You are all doing great!! :clap2:
  5. Thanks Terri, duh! :biggrin1:
  6. I have to ask a dumb question?? What does the "C" stand for? :Banane40:
  7. Okay, here it is....281 (-4), for a minute there I thought I wasn't going to lose anything...phew! Everyone is doing great!! :clap2:
  8. Hi Ryan, I'm a fellow New Yorker! Welcome to LBT!! I was banded on 2/6/06 and I feel great. There's lot's of support here so if you need anything just give a shout. :biggrin1:
  9. You think you've hit a plateau, at least you lost one pound...I weighed myself yestersday and I stayed the same!! grrrr..... I can say at least we didn't gain?! Who am I kidding that doesn't make me feel any better! thank God weigh-in is now on Wednesdays so I have a few more days to remedy this! AMEN!!
  10. You are right, I'm sorry for my posts!
  11. When it gets warmer out I'll do this, great idea! :biggrin1:
  12. When I'm feeling like I want to put food in my mouth which is often since I'm home mostly all week...I'll just stay in my room (which is away from the kitchen) on the computer all day and that usually does it for me.
  13. Ohhh...I'm so jealous! I've been trying to get tickets for the past three years. How did you get the tickets? I DVR Oprah everyday, so I'll look for you. How cool is that! :clap2:
  14. Hi Susan, Yes, we do need to pick her apart...her title to this thread was rude. All people are different and she's expecting people to be like her. I didn't do no research, I knew I wanted WLS and I was going to get it. I asked many questions to my doctor but sometimes you forget. I agree with cashley and most of the newbies I think that the title of this thread was directed at the newer members of this board. I think she's a bully. If she doesn't want to read threads over and over again then why doesn't she skip over them? I also agree with you, we're not here to hurt eachother we're here to help eachother! And this thread was NOT helpful!
  15. Yeah, I know a lot of doctors post here. Not only is one of the doctors banded one of the best doctors in New York is banded. He's originally from Australia but he's living and practicing in New York now. :clap2:
