pizza & chicken nuggets

Recommended Posts

I was banded on Wednesday and today moved on to creamy liquids. Yay!! However, I can't seem to get my mind off sausage pizza and chicken nuggets.sad.gif I'm not even a big pizza eater, but for some reason I am craving it like crazy today. And it seems like every commercial on tv is for chicken nuggets. I dreamed about french fries last night. I'm constantly thinking about food and it really seems like I'm hungry but a few sips of Water kinda takes that feeling away. Does anyone else have/or had crazy cravings like this right after being banded??

I really didn't have cravings for a long time. Now I seem to think about food all the time. Not in a bad way, seems like I'm always planning what I can eat and the protien and calories in it. I've already got tonights supper entered in my daily log... LOL!

It seems to help keep me on track!

Good luck on your journey!

I was banded on August 31th. I have been craving ham and pineapple pizza and tuna sandwiches. Crazy because my favorite food is mexican.

This made me laugh because I had a dream about food 4 days post op! Everyone thought I was crazy, but I think it was because I just wanted to chew something. Sometimes your body craves salt too, could explain why you are craving those things! It will get better though.

I was too. Going thru the fills - I was able to eat pizza no problem until 3rd fill. Then only a few bites of bread and the toppings thru fill 5. 6th Fill - eating the hot cheese and pepperoni is painful as it sits on your chest and you can feel the heat. Argh!!! But then I remember pizza was the main culprit if how I got fat.

I am a year out and at restriction. There is nothing in the world like the power of suggestion. Have you noticed at BK they have a sign "Try our soft serve". I am really not into ice cream. Even presurgery I did'nt eat it. My mother once found a full container in my freezer and said "Is this from my birthday party 8 months ago?" Anyway every time I see that sign I want a soft serve ice cream cone. I even had a dream about eatin one last night. Crazzzyyyyy!

I'm hoping tomorrow is better and that I have no food dreams tonight. rolleyes.gif I ended up watching a movie this afternoon so I wouldn't see so many food commercials. LOL, I'm gonna have to learn how to deal with cravings better.

I dream abt eating food and especially deserts! CARAMEL, chocolate, PECANS.... So when i want to eat and not gain weight I brush my teeth ( that takes the urge to eat away for me cuz i love the feel of fresh breath) and then either get into an activity or go to sleep if it is bed time so I can eat alllllllllll i want in my dreams.... I wonder....Is that healthy??? lolol rolleyes.gif well it works for me lol God Bless and good luck!

i have lost 13 lbs but just started my Ticker 9/9/11 so it does not reflect any weight lost. dang !!! lolol

After I was banded all I wanted was a hotdog and I hate hotdogs! I could smell them everywhere in my house, at the mall, everywhere. But after about a month it went away. Wonder why this happens to all of us. I also seem to watch the food network more and Cakes Boss, why do we do that?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
