1 1/2 weeks out....and I feel good!!!

Recommended Posts

So I am 1 1/2 weeks out and I am feeling good. I have exersized for 3 days. I am not getting as hungry as I used to and I feel like I am eating right. I am seeing a steady loss of .5 to .75 lbs a day. I have not gotten choaked. I just burp more than I used to. No big deal. I know that things will slow down and im sure the hard part is yet to come, but I am very pleasantly suprised. I have my first follow up apt with my Dr on Wednesday. I am looking forward to it.

This is a comforting post. I have not had surgery yet, and I hope my experience is like yours. I am glad you are doing so well. Good luck in the coming weeks/months.

You sound like u r doing quite well! It sounds like you have it down pack! As long as your r exercising your weight loss will be moving right along. I don't have any Fluid in my band right now so I just have to follow the diet plan and exercise. Will be getting a fill in the beginning of Sept. Good luck to you!

I have about the same amount as you, I started out at 200, lost 17 lbs. before surgery diet, had my surgery one week ago and now have lost another 5 lbs. slow and steady, want to get down to 125. I am short, 5 foot 3 and small boned so that should be good. I was trying to do that weight ticker, found the site, went in and set it up and then how do I get it back onto here? thanks for the help and good luck.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
