...and have to meet with a nurse practitioner beforehand?

I have an appointment with my NP tomorrow, and am trying to get an idea of how long it takes and what's involved. I have an important conference at 12:30, need to know if I should reschedule. I've been calling the hospital's bariatric office and keep getting patched to voicemail. Ug.

I had to meet with a PA (Physicians Assistant) before surgery and it was very important because she is the one who I see at every appointment (except 2 week post op) and she does all of the fills.

I was Banded at HENRY FORD HOSPITAL. Center of Excellence in Bariatrics. Detroit, Michigan.

I was banded at Lahey Clinic in MA; I met with the surgeon a couple times before surgery but have worked with two Nurse Practicioners within the WLS department.

I was banded at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern N.Y.
